The Khajuraho International Film Festival strives to celebrate Cinema in all its forms and create a vibrant, interactive forum for filmmakers and audiences through a collective viewing experience!

Khajuraho is a world class tourist locale and an embodiment of the rich cultural heritage of India, further exemplified by its recognition as one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
A much awaited annual event, the Khajuraho International Film Festival has the unique distinction of being the only Film Festival in the World to be held at a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Launched in 2015, the Khajuraho International Film Festival is supported by the Madhya Pradesh State Government, FICCI and the Film & TV Producers Guild of India. Presented by Prayas Productions, the 3rd edition will be held from 17st – 23th December 2017 and will have screening venues at Khajuraho, Chhattarpur and Panna.
The Governing Council includes an impressive panel of luminaries and professionals from the Indian Film Industry. The Festival is non-competitive and will feature a mix of segments that will showcase entertaining, insightful and socially relevant films from India and World Cinema, along with attending filmmakers and delegates who will engage with the audiences through interactive Q&As, workshops, master classes and thereby encourage a collective cinematic viewing experience.

अंतरराष्ट्रीय फिल्म उत्सव में प्रदर्शित होंगी होशंगाबाद की शार्ट फिल्में

होशंगाबाद. खजुराहो में 16 से 22 दिसंबर तक अंतरराष्ट्रीय फिल्म उत्सव प्रसिद्ध अभिनेता राजा बुंदेला के नेतृत्व मनेगा। इसमें जिले के फिल्म कलाकारों और निर्देशकों की शॉर्ट फिल्म, डॉक्युमेंटरी, टॉकीजनुमा शो प्रदर्शित होंगे। राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर अपनी पहचान बनाने वाले नगर के फिल्म कलाकार और निर्देशक परेश मसीह की दो फिल्में तौबा और कजरी भी इसमें प्रदर्शित होगी। जिले के बाल एवं युवा कलाकार भी इसमें भाग लेंगे। उत्सव के लिए 30 नवंबर तक फिल्में जमा की जाएंगी।

Highlights of KIFF 2017

As Khajuraho International Film Festival steps into the 3 rd year, the festival is reaching new grounds in 2017. Some major highlights of this years' festival are as follows:

1) This year the festival will be held at three subsequent locations at the same time - Khajuraho, Chattarpur and Panna. The festival will have one main venue, set up at Pahil Vatika, Khajuraho, along with 3 Tapra talkies for screenings at Khajuraho, Chattarpur and Panna.

2) This year we celebrate the 3rd edition of the Khajuraho International Film Festival (KIFF) with the firm support of the Film and Television Producers Guild of India for the first time.

3) There will be a short film competition to aspire young filmmakers from the region and three winners will be offered a scholarship.

4) Artwork and Stage Design will be handled by National Award-winning Art director Mr. Jayant Deshmukh.

5) Pre-Festival workshop will be conducted by Susmita Mukherjee and Manohar Khushalani at Khajuraho, Panna and Chattarpur. Local talents will be selected during the workshops and will be given an opportunity to attend workshops and master classes during the festival.
